Remote images are blocked. Loading them opens a separate preview and contacts the sender’s servers.
Save the .msg attachment from Mail or your browser, then choose it below. Read it in Safari, Chrome or Firefox without installing Outlook.
Or choose a file from your device.
.msg, .eml and standard .oft templates · Multiple files welcome
Remote images are blocked. Loading them opens a separate preview and contacts the sender’s servers.
Your browser reads the file directly on your device. Nothing is uploaded. No analytics, cookies, advertising scripts or account sign-in run in this build. The server receives the ordinary request to load this website, never your message.
Email HTML is sanitised, then displayed in a sandbox with scripts and network requests blocked. Embedded images come from your file. Only an explicit remote-image preview contacts outside image servers. Downloaded files stay on your device; opening an attachment in another app is outside this viewer’s protections.
A .msg file is an Outlook item saved as a file. An email item can contain its subject, sender, recipients, body and attachments in a Microsoft compound-file container. It is different from .eml, a text-based internet mail format. Renaming the extension does not convert it.
This tool reads email messages and standard OFT email templates. Calendar items, contacts, encrypted mail and RTF-only bodies may not display fully.
Apple Mail does not natively read Outlook MSG files. Save the attachment to Downloads and open it here in your browser. Export to EML if you want a format Apple Mail can open. For a PDF, use the viewer’s print button.
Save the attachment in the Files app, then select it with Choose files. This works entirely in the browser and does not require a Windows application. If a managed Chromebook blocks file access, ask your administrator or request an EML copy.
Use the attachment’s Share menu to save it to Files, then visit this page in Safari and tap Choose files. Export EML or use Print and the iOS share options to save a PDF. Very large messages may exceed your phone’s available memory.
Save the file, open this page in Edge, Chrome or Firefox, and choose it. You can read the message and download attachments without installing Outlook or changing your default email app.
Outlook can wrap rich text and attachments in TNEF, which some mail apps show as winmail.dat. This is a different format, not a MSG file with another name. This viewer does not support TNEF. Ask the sender to resend using HTML or plain text with ordinary attachments.
Download as EML preserves the readable message and attachment bytes for compatible email apps. Print / save as PDF creates a readable document using your browser’s print dialog. Neither is a byte-for-byte archive of every Outlook property; keep your original file.
No. Files are read and parsed in your browser. There is no upload endpoint, analytics or advertising in the default build. Remote images are blocked unless you explicitly open the remote-image preview.
No. Choose a .msg or .eml file in a modern browser. Standard compound-file .oft email templates are also supported; Outlook-specific template actions are not executed.
Yes. Select or drop several files, then choose a filename in the list. Each message can be exported or printed separately.
Images hosted on the sender’s servers are blocked to prevent tracking. Embedded CID images are displayed when their attachments are available. Load remote images opens a separate preview after your consent and may reveal your IP address to the sender.
No. TNEF files such as winmail.dat and encrypted messages are not supported. Ask the sender for a normal .msg or .eml message or separate attachments.
After the site and its parser have loaded, parsing needs no internet connection. This is not an installable offline app: a fresh visit or reload still needs the site. No files are saved by this tool; clear them or close the tab when finished.
